Get Ready, Get Set and Walk!
Start those paws! The green flag will drop because it is time to walk for the Humane Society of Indianapolis. Rain or shine, the plaza of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) will be buzzing on Sunday, April 27, 2008 with people and pets! The event, affectionately called Mutt Strutt, is an annual fundraiser for the organization. There will be many vendor and sponsor booths to visit displaying a variety of goods and services for your family and your pet(s). Visit the HSI Re-TAIL store on the IMS Plaza to purchase bandanas, sweatshirts, ponchos and more. Capture this unique experience with your pet through a photo taken at the finish line on the famous Yard of Bricks. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Humane Society of Indianapolis.Cambridge Who’s Who Member Troy A. Hanna, Director of Sales at ComedySportz Indianapolis, will be among the attendees and supporters at the event. Mr. Hanna and 10 to 15 other walkers will represent ComedySportz Indianapolis in support of Mutt Strut. Mr. Hanna was recently interviewed by Fox 59 News Indianapolis. When asked about the event he stated, “It just seemed like a good opportunity for a bunch of us to get together to share our love of animals, have a good time and raise awareness for a great cause.” To view the full video interview with Mr. Hanna and other participants and sponsors of the event, visit the Fox 59 Website.
The Humane Society seeks a humane and sustainable world for all animals—a world that will also benefit people. They are America’s mainstream force against animal cruelty, exploitation and neglect as well as the most trusted voice extolling the human-animal bond. The Humane Society receives no federal support; it is solely funded by corporate contributions, partners and title sponsors such as ComedySportz Indianapolis. If you would like to contribute or participate in the event visit the Indianapolis Humane Society’s website at www.indyhumane.org. Troy Hanna has been a member of Cambridge Who’s Who since September 2007. Cambridge Who’s Who would like to wish Mr. Hanna and the five thousand participants expected to attend success in their goal of raising over $300,000 for the Humane Society of Indianapolis.
