Ginger and Randolph serve as president and lead surgeon for the organization, respectively. The couple admits that fulfilling their mission requires stamina, flexibility, a broad knowledge base, and a heart for caring. “Being a nurse requires a willingness to see somebody at their most vulnerable time through their crisis,” Ginger notes. Despite the many obstacles that have arised during the course of her career, Ginger has created a legacy of courage, triumph and breathtaking compassion. In April of 2009, she was honored with the Humanitarian Award by the University of Missouri Sinclair School of Nursing, for her efforts through FTC. Additionally, Randolph was selected to receive the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Humanitarian Award for Fellows and Members, which was officially presented during the 92nd Annual Meeting Opening Awards Ceremony on Sept. 29, 2010, in Chicago, Illinois.

FACE the Challenge, Inc.’s administrative and medical expenses are funded by financial gifts and donations. To learn more about Ginger Robinson, her work at FTC and how you can contribute to the cause, please visit the FTC website: www.facethechallenge.org.
